Are you interested in serving on the Ella Baker PTSA Board of Directors? Do you know someone who is? Your membership and contributions support our children and staff at Ella Baker - why not take the next step by serving on our Board of Directors or chair a program or event?

The PTSA Nominating Committee is taking nominations for our 2019/20 PTSA Board of Directors. We are looking for energetic, dynamic individuals who can provide strong support to the school's students and staff as well as the school community.

All of these roles are a great opportunity to use your leadership, problem solving, friendraising, fundraising, social, creative and/or logical talents. You will have the in depth opportunity to learn about each student's education and play an integral role in enhancing their academic and personal experience. Partnering closely with the administration, teachers and staff you can help shape what programs are offered and work with the Ella Baker community to advocate and fund these important initiatives. You will develop strong bonds with the teachers, staff and students which is a wonderful and rewarding experience. 

No prior PTSA board experience is necessary! Training is available for all positions and you will have the full support of our school board, the district council and Washington State PTA.

We need your help to make sure every student has the best educational experience at Ella Baker and the PTSA can continue to steward our community's generosity in the most impactful way.
