We are looking for a Sustainability Chair volunteer for 2018-2019 to work on green projects with the Sustainability Chairs from the PTSA council and other LWSD PTSAs. This is a great opportunity to work on projects/policies that will positively impact the students and the community. Some potential project ideas are: food recovery, waste reduction/composting/recycling, herbicide-free schools, reducing exposure to lead, green cleaning, idle-free zones, food policy etc.  You can help make a difference!

This is a new chair role in the Lake Washington School District and is a work in progress. 1st meeting is on 8/31 at 9:30AM.  If you are interested in being the Sustainability Chair for Ella Baker, but cannot make the meeting, please still let us know that you are interested.
