The Parent, Teacher, Student Association (PTSA) is a group of volunteers advocating, communicating, and working for the purpose of enriching the "whole child". Ella Baker PTSA is part of the largest volunteer association dedicated to the education, health, welfare and safety of all children in the entire state.

With your support, the PTSA is able to provide a variety of programs in math, art, science, technology, assemblies, support services, change maker projects and more!

PROGRAMS PTSA PROVIDES

Fundraisers enable PTSA to support the entire school with enrichment programs, community eventsadvocacy programs and various services:

  • $8,250 supports field trips outside of the classroom and school
  • $6,000 enables us to host educationally-enriching assemblies
  • $6,000 purchases classroom supplies for each teacher
  • $5,500 supports a PlayEveryDay coach to lead positive and inclusive active play
  • $4,000 provides physical education equipment and recess games and activities
  • $3,000 provides author visits and library books and literacy resources
  • $2,500 provides emergency preparedness and school safety supplies 
  • $2,500 allows us to support our students in need so they are set up for success  
  • $2,000 provides art enrichment and ceramic instruction
  • $1,500 supports service-learning projects
  • $1,500 allows us to gather the community for family-friendly events
  • $1,000 provides musical instruments, equipment and curriculum-based supplies
  • $700 supports our green team and student leadership clubs
  • $300 supports our Math Challenge program
