Math Challenge Online
Math Challenge Online

Chair:

Math Challenge is an optional, math enrichment extension program at Ella Baker. It is designed to give students opportunities to sharpen their mathematical problem-solving skills. Throughout the challenges, the program covers problem solving strategies such as drawing a picture or model, making an organized list, looking for patterns, working backwards, and guessing and checking. Families are encouraged to get involved and work together to solve the math problems.

Monthly challenges will be available on this website for download starting in late September.

Build the Bear Fundraiser is Ella Baker PTSA’s annual cash contribution campaign where we ask families to provide a monetary donation to help enhance the educational experience each student receives at Ella Baker through curriculum support, academic programs and invested activities and purpose-driven events.

In our inaugural year we are asking families to reach a little further to help build our “bear fund” to ensure we have the necessary resources and important programs in place for our students, teachers and staff.
